Ingredients
Method
- Prepare the Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Prepare the Lobster Tails:
- If frozen, thaw the lobster tails completely in the refrigerator overnight.
- Using kitchen shears, cut through the center of the top shell lengthwise.
- Gently loosen the lobster meat from the shell while keeping the end attached.
- Lift the meat and rest it neatly on top of the shell.
- Make the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir until well mixed.
- Season the Lobster:
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
- Reserve a small amount of butter for serving if desired.
- Bake:
- Arrange the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on the size of the tails.
- Cook until the meat is opaque white and reaches an internal temperature of 140–145°F (60–63°C).
- Garnish and Serve:
- Remove the lobster tails from the oven.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra melted garlic butter.
Notes
Thaw frozen lobster tails completely before cooking.
Avoid overcooking, as lobster becomes tough and rubbery.
Brush with extra garlic butter halfway through baking for even more flavor.
Fresh lemon juice provides the best taste.
Use an instant-read thermometer for perfectly cooked lobster every time.
