Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season both sides lightly with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2–3 minutes per side until golden — this is just for color, not to fully cook them through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, heavy cream, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and pour the creamy Caesar sauce evenly over the top, coating each piece.
- Bake uncovered until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), and the sauce has thickened into a glossy coating.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Use even-sized chicken breasts so they cook at the same rate, and don't skip the searing step — it adds flavor and texture that baking alone won't achieve. Freshly grated Parmesan melts more smoothly into the sauce than pre-shredded cheese. Let the dish rest briefly before serving to keep the chicken juicy. If the sauce turns out too thick, thin it with a splash of milk or chicken broth
